Release notes · v0.9.3
  • Screenshot (with Animate and Render): save a picture of the view as it is, in any style, at any size (up to 16384 px), sharper than the screen. Show or hide the grid, a transparent, white or black background, the floor's shadows, and edge lines scaled to the picture
  • CAM: Advanced post options for each machine: arcs as I/J, R or straight lines; decimals; drilling cycles written out; optional stops; coolant codes; where to park; your own blocks at the start, around tool changes and at the end. Preview the code, and save or load a machine
  • CAM: a post for Brother Speedio controls, and a Brother Speedio machine
  • Labs (Preferences → Labs): try features still being worked on. The first is sketching on any curved face (torus, free-form surfaces): a normal sketch with all its tools, constraints and dimensions, laid onto the face
  • View cube: your own labels on its faces (Preferences → Display)
  • Large STEP files use less memory while opening
  • 3D mouse: smoother on Windows with display scaling (such as 110%)
  • Gridfinity: thanks to Zack Freedman, who created Gridfinity
  • Also in 0.9.2:
    • PhysCAD is in 10 languages (Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Polish and Turkish)
    • CAM: a post for Centroid controls, and a default machine in Preferences → CAM
    • STEP import keeps the bodies' names and colors
