Is it really a one-time purchase?
Yes. $49.99, once. You get the current version and every update released in the following year. After that, keep using what you have forever, or pick up another year of updates whenever you like.
What happens when my year of updates ends?
Nothing. PCBPA keeps working exactly as it did: no nagging, no locked features, no expiry.
Where are my designs stored?
On your computer. Not in a "cloud", which is just someone else's computer. No account is needed.
How many computers can I use it on?
3 at a time. You can move a license by deactivating a machine from the license page on this site.
Can I bring my existing parts?
Yes. PCBPA imports existing KiCad and Eagle libraries, and the parts editor can build new parts from standard packages.
How big can a board be?
Up to 8 layers, and there's no arbitrary board-size limit.
Do I have to set up signals and power for the analysis?
No. It's optional, but even a little information (which net is power, which is USB or I²C) lets the analysis tools start working.
